This is the MG’s new Fiesta-fighting supermini: the MG3. It’ll go on sale in late 2013 carrying Korean brand-challenging prices and what MG is touting as ‘a distinctive statement of modern British style’ aimed at young buyers. Motorcycle News Lotus has licensed its name for this 200 HP superbike. Motorcycle News is reporting that Lotus, the beloved sportscar manufacturer that launched a thousand acronymic reliability jokes--"L.O.T.U.S, Lots Of Trouble, Usually Serious"--has lent its name to a 200 HP, V-twin-powered superbike that is to be manufactured by a new company. While it does wear a lovely JPS-style livery, it's not clear where the lightness has been added or if it's been simplified.
Toyota will show a drop-top 'FT86 Open' concept at the 2013 Geneva motor show. It's supposedly a concept version created only to gauge customer reaction to a GT86 convertible, but with test mules already hard at work elsewhere, this is one concept car you can be sure will make it to showrooms almost unchanged. After all, that 'FT86' moniker stands for 'Future Toyota'...
